- A few words from the owners of Ella Bleu Boutique: Kim & Thierry--- These days it seems like everyone owns a boutique or at least thinks they want to open one. I suppose the reason I find this interesting is because in almost any other profession you typically require some kind of education or degree. This would then indicate that you deserve the authority to advise people who come to you for the services that you offer, that you do indeed know what you are doing. The desirable world of fashion however has no such requirements and thus has bore gazillions of boutiques all over the country of imparting advice to innocent individuals who hand their trust over to some sales person who tells them “OH! That looks faaaabulous on you!” when in fact it is shocking and horrific. They sell these unassuming customers the “must have trends” that only 1% of the population can wear,(and by the way, that 1% are supermodels and movie stars) and that the rest of the average women(meaning: I work full time, drive carpool, cook, clean and do laundry all in one day) cannot actually translate to her everyday life. *To view more please visit archived posting, "About Us"
